Markets
Show your manager the markets you’re missing.
Egypt sold $10.6B of food abroad in 2025. The desk shows where it went, market by market, next to where you already sell — so the gaps stand out.
In this sample exporter’s view, 5 of the 8 biggest markets are gaps — starting with Russia, which bought $760M of Egyptian food in 2025.
Sample exporter. On the desk the gaps come from your own markets and products.

Regulations
Know what the border asks for.
One page per market: every document that has to travel with the box and who in Egypt issues it, the authority that decides whether it lands, what that border has actually turned back from Egypt, and which of your own certificates cover it — with the ones about to expire in red.
We publish no tariff percentage and invent no rule. Egypt ships duty-free into the Arab League under GAFTA and preferentially into the EU, so a published rate is usually the wrong one for you; the figure has to come from the regulator, and every market links to theirs. Where we cannot see a border we say so rather than showing you a zero — the rejection feed is the EU’s, and a Gulf market that is quiet on it is a market nobody is watching for you.

PackWhat travels with the box
Invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary, health, fumigation, insurance
EUWhat Europe adds
+ EUR.1 movement certificate, CHED-PP prenotification in TRACES, organic certificate of inspection
WhoWho decides it lands
Access2Markets for duty and origin, the Commission's food-safety rules — their pages, not ours
StoppedWhat this border turned back
Germany's own RASFF notifications against Egypt, newest first, with the reason in one word
YoursWhat you hold
Your certificates against the lines of the pack that name one — expired and expiring in red
Logistics
Quote the landed price.
Type your own numbers once — haulage, clearance, terminal handling, your forwarder’s freight quote — and the desk gives you the five prices a buyer can ask for, and the price per kilo at each one. Beside it: how long the box takes from 6 Egyptian ports to 14 markets, the papers that travel with it, and the temperature it wants.
We do not sell you a freight rate and we do not invent a duty percentage. Egypt ships duty-free into the Arab League under GAFTA and preferentially into the EU under the Association Agreement, so a published tariff is usually the wrong one for you — the desk sends you to the authority’s own page and does the arithmetic around your figure.

Opportunities
Be at the right fair, early.
Buyers decide at trade fairs, and the good stands go months ahead. The desk keeps the food fairs that matter to food exporters on one calendar — dated from each fair’s own website, counting down.
It also marks the Ramadan season, when buyers in the Gulf and North Africa order early.
